Happy Dussehra and Vijayadashmi! Happy Dasara to all of you!
Dussehra
Vijayadashmi today! Last day of Navratri festival! Durga Visarjan and
the day of the killing of Drishti Ravana! Today, as Ram went to Lanka on
Dashami and killed Ravana by Lord Ram, today's day was called
Vijayadashmi.
The statue of Ravana is burnt on Dussehra, because
ravana's murder is considered to be a symbol of the victory of truth
over untruth, the victory of knowledge over ignorance. He was destroyed
by his visions and ego. Therefore, the purpose of this festival is to
kill the ego and vices in us and to awaken Ram among us.
You will definitely like the dussehra greetings we posted and hope you share them with your friends.
